Slingshot Global Team Rider Ben Wilson joins us in the Gorge this month for a special treat! Join Slingshot and 2nd Wind Sports in Hood River for a premier showing of the Unknown Road.

At the movie premier there will be an opportunity to sign up to get in on the free ON-THE-WATER KITE riding and tips clinic with Ben himself. Spaces are limited, so sign up early! Spaces for the ON-THE-WATER KITE clinic will be limited so contact Amery Bernard to add yourself to the list or for any questions a.bernard@slingshotsports.com with questions.

HR Movie Premier of "Unknown Road" with Special Guest Ben Wilson
Brought to you by : 2nd Wind Sports, Slingshot Sports and Dakine.
When : Thursday Evening April 17th, starting @ 9pm
Who : Anyone who is jonesing for the summer kite season to start!
Why : To watch a premium quality kite surf flick with the star athlete in attendance (not that Amery and McLovin aren't enough of a big deal) and to catch some free shwag from 2nd Wind, Slingshot and Dakine.

I updated the movie premiere post to better explain that we are offering two events with Ben Wilson.

1 - Movie Premier at the River City Saloon of "Unknown Road" w/Ben Wilson on April 17th at 9pm

AND

2 - FREE!! ON-THE-WATER KITE riding clinic with Ben Wilson to be held at either the Coast or the Gorge, depending on wind conditions. Participant space is limited, so if you don't want to miss out contact Amery Bernard at
a.bernard@slingshotsports.com while there is still time. Clinic date will be announced at the night of the party.

Just a hint of advice -
Everybody better study up on their Slingshot product and company history knowledge cause' it'll all be part of the Slingshot challenge to win shwag tomorrow evening.

We'll also be breaking out the Slingshot-ski beverage consumption device.

Head hurts today.

Thanks to all of you that made a point of joining us last night at the River City Saloon.

It was a full night of fun.

Special Gueat Ben Wilson participated in the Shotgun competition, Matt bit Amery, Amery punched Matt in the nuts, Brave Dave was asked all night "When's your Spring Party?", Anna gave Gumby the "Blow Me" gift, the Slingshot-ski was well used, and for some reason or other, people were witnessed snorting salt and squirting lemon in their eyes all while taking shots of whiskey (strange to me, but whatever floats your boat).

Again, thanks to all who attended and for your local support.
Big special thanks to - Amery, Ben, Shy and the rest of the Slingshot crew for making this event happen for us.

BTW - Brave Dave should have some photos to post later.

Heck ya!... sweet party for sure. I was stoke to see all the people there ready to get the season started. O'man slingshotski to blind is a very hard trick to dial... it usually kicks your ass pretty good...

Dave is on it and pictures will be up soon.
