Great job! Shout out to both crews! Looks like a monumental effort.
Good thing you got some both days, it's rain to 7000 feet today--

So sad it got all warm out - that spot looks like a blast - if you guys hit it with good snow, its going to be effortless.

the one session i got on st helens with shay last year was on bulletproof ice, a bit tough when you wipe, but you just zip around (its got to be awesome if you get some cold fluffy conditions)

Way to go

The spot we were at is right around 3000 feet, so snow level just needs to be that or lower for it to be good. To give an idea Meadows parking lot is at 4500 feet.

This sensor worked well for judging wind:

http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KWALYLE4

I think it was pretty accurate, reading around 30mph before we headed up and that's what it felt like up there. By contrast at the same time the sensors in the Gorge were all sub 5 mph.

I think we have the spot, sensors, and knowledge of what will make it work. Now we just need the conditions to line up and it could be epic!

My car said it was 35 up there yesterday, so we only needed a couple more degrees...
