| Too bad I missed the early bus. Noon was good too. Water level was a bit higher than in the past month. Sand Island was completely covered...

| The wind was still good! I was on the 9 yarga. Gman was makin' the 5 work on his small board-- Kataku and Tucker were on 7 Rev's. (When we came in to rooster around 2:00 I landed someones "large" c-kite. It was a blue--I thought it was a 10 or 12m.)

Ya forgot to mention that Adam was only wearing board shorts and a rash guard - very impressive if he stayed out until 2 (or did he just forget his wettie?) it was bloody nippy in that wind

Henry, love the pics with the sun rising over the ridge. If there was a magazine article about dawn patrols (which there should be) they should use that first one.

So what's the verdict? Looking like another repeat tomorrow??? Forecast is lighter, but will probably still be over 20mph if it blows at all. Looks like the weekend might work too. Saturday looks a bit funky, but Sunday might be good.
I'll wake up again at 6 tomorrow and check it out. Hope to see you guys out there if it's blowing from the East in the morning.
