The Fall Surf Expo show is held at the convention center in Orlando, Florida every year (actually twice a year, but only once a year for windsports).
The show is specifically for vendors and manufactures to meet with dealers and present next season's product lines.
This show has lots of T&A, both covered and not. Parties are interesting as well, especially the wakeboard ones (my former business world).
Kite stuff was interesting this year. The funniest was seeing the new Naish kites and the Globe kites both on the water at the same time. The Naish have an inverted leading edge(female) and the Globe have a pointed/protruding leading edge (male). At the demos we kept waiting for them to bump into each other and mate.
Slingshot, Liquid Force and Globe probably had the most success in the lightwind conditions at the demo. The T3 ruled it in the lightwinds while the Globe kites and Liquid Force Havoc's were able to stay upwind and do well. All the other brands actually were having issues with the flukey lightwinds both in staying upwind and in relaunching.
