Posting this from a Palm 700w seems to work using Win Mobile 5 and IE. |

It works fine on my Treo 750 (WM5) via WiFi... Just run it in single column. |

I'm using a treo 750 with WM5 and the latest version of PIE. If I try to post anything I get the following error message. My carrier is Cingular.

Hey Broadbandito. I checked and my cookies are enabled and I'm logged on and still not working. I can post when I use Opera mini so it must be something in the brower setting of IE. |

I'm kind of thinking it's a browser issue. I've found that I can post from my phone if I use Opera Mini instead of Internet Explorer.
Mark. You can download Opera Mini for free and it's a pretty good web browser. Only downside is that I think it is a little awkward to use compared to IE.
Phil. The only thing I can think of is that Opera is Java enabled. Would this make a difference?
I should be getting my HTC Kaiser on Wednesday. I'll see if that makes a difference. |

Yeah, I can browse and look at pics, etc.. no problem from my Motorola Q, but when it comes to posting, it won't let me.
I can gmail all day long, send and recieve....
When I type up a post, or reply, I press send/post, and it takes me back to the edit screen.
This is why my photos from the Cape will have to wait for tonight. _________________ Shallow Dive Design, 2nd Wind Sports, Airush, Trident Sports |

I also get sent back to the edit screen when I press send/post. This is on a Samsung Blackjack. I searched around and haven't been able to find a solution. |

Can any of you guys who have problems with this forum confirm that other forums or web apps work okay? |

I have exactly the same problem on http://www.seattlekitesurfing.org/forum
So I guess the "send/post" goes back to edit text screen issue is a bug/incompatibility between the Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile 5, and the phpBB code. |

k. I think I may have it figured out. I'm guessing most of the problems are with people that have Cingular. I disabled the proxy that Cingular adds to IE and now I can post. You have to disable the Cingular proxy by editing your registry. I'll play with it some more and post a solution if people are interested. I'm posting this from my phone BTW. |
