So, I haven't been able to find out what the wind range is for the helix in its' different sizes. Anyone know where I can find this info?

Hey Rich,
Not sure if its out yet. You can go to the Naish site and the range is very simular to the Boxer of 07.

If you want to play on a 9m let me know.....

I can't say what the real windrange is, but I do think the windrange on the Helix is more usable if I can say it that way. Often you can go out on a kite in it's higher or lower ranges, but often it is more or less a bad session due to it is hard to control the kite when super depowered. Atleast I have the feeling I can completely control the kite in its upper ranges. I've had the 14 out in 25 (ranging maybe 19 - 27) mph, and although I still would have been more comfortable on a smaller kite (smaller kite is always better (IMO)), I felt I was fully in charge, and I could even throw kiteloops with it.

I am excited to see what the low end of the 9 is. 30 mph isn't even close to the top end.
My point isn't really as much the windrange as it is I think the Helix has a more usable windrange due to the constant and even bar pressure. Still as all kites there are ideal windranges and possible windranges. Smile
A.

Rich,
I was flying Felix today at rooster. There was a mix of kites mostly 5 and 7 meters. I did not feel overpowered tons. However it would have be perfect on a 7. Of course, being on the 9 makes for SICK jumps.

Of course you can take the helix for spin. lets stay in touch.
