Hey JC,
Ive been to Paros in my windsurfing days. From memory youre looking for Meltami (NE) winds which howl in the summer. I think Sept/Oct may be a little late but not sure. Ive kited at a place near Lavrio I think on the mainland in some very strong wind in August.
Should be a great time no matter what.

hi jc,
I went to Naxos Greece back in early July of 2017. windy everyday.
there are kite schools at the kite beach which is just SW of the main town area.
super fun place but I was only foiling so my experience might be different. I think i rode a 3.7m kite the whole trip. wind was onshore/sideshore everyday. most kiters are familiar with the neighboring island of Paros but Naxos is a kite destination!
I would ping the local kite school and see how it is during your stay.
