What's Up With The Fake iKite Forecasts?

For two days in a row now, iKite basically faked a forecast. Yesterday's forecast was just a time stamp change--even though conditions had changed significantly. Today, they simply cut a few sentences out, but made no effort to produce an actual forecast. Today's forecast, updated at 0730 today, includes this verbiage: "As the North Pacific High tries to nudge continues it will bring ragged low to mid-teens to the Corridor after 2 PM." Please note that actual conditions were already into the 20s at the time of this update. Also, that verbiage is the same verbiage from the forecast for Friday.

I get that forecasters can't get it right all the time. But I do expect a forecaster for a service I pay for to at least TRY. And if they don't want to try, don't lie to us by changing the time stamp of the forecast. Just admit they are too busy or whatever. Evil or Very Mad

ive been thinking of the same thing regarding ikite. and, for this season, its not unusual for the ikite forecast and thegorgeismygym to be in stark disagreement.

with that said, its also been a pretty weird season.....at least at the ES.

Is that for the Pro or Plus forecast model?
I ditched ikite when they dropped the classifieds section.

If ya are looking for the real, try out victors forcast.I kite is mostly only useful for the meters … get you forcast from a wind sport forecaster with 40 years of local insight.

I have noticed that the last 2 day's forecast were unusually inaccurate, especially out east. Updates seem to be cut and paste! Someone is getting lazy at Ikite! Victor is the man!
