I'm FINE with $200 for an entire year of parking at ES

I bet most of you would PAY a lot more - don't tell the PORT Wink

I'm not fine with paying $200 to show up after work and get turned away because everything is full.

What’s another $50 to participate in this year’s Pro Leisure Tour?

One apres session at Ferment? A few micro brews? Tank of gas in the Sprinter?

We need a new bridge!

We're so close... just a few more decades hiring consultants for studies to go! The good news is that once the Port initiates the project, all relevant agencies will agree on details and it'll be built quickly, and then the temporary toll will go away.

Nice. It’s not often I read a projection into the future that actually has a less than zero chance of happening. Well played sir!

Hmm Wink I hear ya, most of us could do with less crowds, but alas we endure. We even had a full season with a guest fish wheel parked mid sandbar, so weird things do happen.

I challenge you to find a better deal for a year's access to any sport venue anywhere that offers all we have here for the price.

Turned AWAY? Don't think so - even on those crazy busy days when English is the 3rd most popular language behind Canadian You can always PARK in ZONE #3. Yes it's a quick walk and Yes you might need flops to protect your feet from the rock/sand mix but it's RIGHT THERE...Had one of the BEST DAYS in several years last summer on a day I parked out in the dirt lot...

If you want more exclusivity, then you are really arguing for a BIGGER PRICE increase. If ES parking passes were $2500 there would be plenty of room next to all the shiny new gray REVEL Sprinter Vans, even after work.

Best case future parking solution would be for the PORT to bulldoze Wells Island and erect a members ONLY preferred parking garage and tapas bar with valet rigging services. Of course that would require paving the Hook so we can access the new bridge to Wells Island Premium Parking without getting our G-Wagons dirty...Sorry NO RV's Trailers or Over Height / Over Length Vehicles Allowed at the new WIPP Facility.

Hook parking has become a disaster. Wonder how far off we are from paid parking at the hook.

I like it! Oh, and EVs only with free charging at every parking spot. I'm in! Very Happy

Maybe the price increase is to hire high schoolers who'll manage a new Hook parking booth?

Hopefully they invest this money wisely, somehow. Not sure why they would go from 10 to 15 a day, I guess it just goes with everything getting more and more expensive.

I bought my pass today. There is a comment section when you purchase. There, you can let your feelings be known, whatever they may be. I do feel like $200 is getting near the upper end of reasonable. I am not willing to call it unreasonable, but it's close from my perspective. This is what I essentially told them.

Anyone remember when the ES first started charging? I think it was $2/day. I was so broke back then, it actually mattered. I just paid the Port $2400 yesterday for a slip (finally). I'm so broke today, it actually mattered.

Maybe somebody could tow the fish wheel away. It’s been parked out there for a long time.

Hopefully the high water will take it away come spring.

I hope the Port has been charging the owners for parking. Fair is fair, right?
