Sorry if this doesn´t go here but i thought maybe people wouldn´t see it on time on the other page:

A friend is bringing over two 5'8"(1.72meters) thinish directionals and one 132*39 board. They are new and disassembled and don´t take up too much space in thickness. I have a kiteshop here, and none of my usual distributors in the USA have a boarbag in these dimensions in stock. Please help me out!!
The boardbag has to be in Memphis, Tennessee by next thursday Jun 28, as he travels on Friday.
Max lenght is 6 feet as he is flying on continental and they are huge assholes regarding any excess baggage, sports equipment! http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/baggage/sports.aspx

Something like this Dakine Air Wagon (6’0 x 20” x 11”) would be perfect.

Please let me know what you can offer me on this post, by PM, or by mail mexkites (at) yahoo dot com .
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Andres Santacruz

Hi Andres:

We have both the 6' Surfboard bags and the large Dakine Airwagons in stock at our shop, and can ship to anywhere in the United States.

But, you will definitely want to make some specific research into what exact bag will work for you.
I don't think tha your larger directional board will fit into an Airwagon (these bags are specifically made for twin or mutant style boards - around 40-44cm wide max and are usually on able to fit up to a 155cm board). A surf board bag is the next most logical solution, but will require some good padded packaging for holding both your directional and your twin (without incurring any damage during the flight).

Shipping a bag to your friend would likely cost around $35-45 via Fed Ex or UPS ground shipping (apprx 5-7 bus days).

If you have any questions that we can help you out with call us at our shop.

Thanks
Pepi

Hey guys i didn't get an email that this thread had gotten replies, so i am just looking at the responses, thanks to everyone.

Spike, no one has the big dakine air wagon in stock.
Kite Addict: How long is your air wagon? Is it the 6 foot one?

Here are pictures of the package on this link, it really isn't very thick, and it is very well protected, this is how they shipped from New Zealand, they are well protected no damage. I only need the board bag so it will be easier to carry, and so the airline won't hassle him for having a big cardboard box. And to maybe get away with declaring it is ski gear or something else not a surboard or kiteboard, they charge crazy amounts for that!
