Sponsor prizes are starting to come in and they are looking good! 2008 Kite Packages, Boards, and gear galore is starting to trickle in. We will keep you posted on the details as we secure more sponsors.

In the meantime, the local fundraising race is on!

We have two locals who are neck-and-neck for the grand prize of top fundraiser! Toby Winston and Trevor Smith, both fundraising for The John Wayne Cancer Foundation, are bringing in new donations almost daily!

1. Toby: $715
2. Trevor: $650

Brett Edelen is quickly closing the gap in 3rd, kiting for The National Childhood Cancer Foundation (CureSearch) with 3 donations today alone!!

PS... not sure if you guys found it, but I finally figured out how to send thank you to the donors. Go to this link http://www.active.com/activegiving/tips.cfm, log in, and then click on Campaign Center.

Then, click on View Reports, select the people you need to thank, and then at the bottom, click on 'email selected recipients'... you can then type a personal message. also, even though you are blasting to a bunch of emails, their email address is the only one that shows in the "to" field.

Make sure you thank your donors!!!
