Canceled due to smokey conditions. (cough cough).
**** SAVE THE DATE / EVENT SITE WORK PARTY ****
When: Saturday, Sept 12th, 9:00 am to Noon(ish) - In preparation for the re-activation of seasonal kite launch & land privileges from The Event Site lawn, The CGW2, and The Port of Hood River are seeking volunteers to help clear rocks in the shallows closest to Event Site grass.
The Port of Hood River will be operating a Bobcat tractor and we need strong arms and backs to help fill the bucket for re-distribution of those toe-biters! The results should help save some foot digits in the months to come! Be prepared to be in up to knee-deep water for a few hours. Sept., mornings can be cool. Wear appropriate water & footwear. Tell your friends! Save some toes!
