It's best to plan on being rigged a good hour or hour & a half before the beaches high tide forecast. You want the tide coming in and flooding if you're staying inside of the hook. Once it starts going out, it goes fast and there will be a lot of shallows but if you're on a twin, doesn't matter too much there's lots of space around the corner to the east and the river. Just watch it if you get out into the river, if it's a big switch the current gets strong and depending on how compromised of a position you find yourself (i.e. kite down & can't get it up), you're in for a challenging situation.
