My wife windsurfs. Normally she’s down at Bob’s and I launch at kite spot with me doing the hike to the kite spot with armloads of gear. Is there now an easy windurf rig and launch closer to kite spot? |

There is a bit more room due to the gravel that was put over the rocks and the removal of some bushes near the hill/cliff edge. There have been a few windsurfers launching there this year. _________________ Curious about Ocean Rodeo gear? Drop me a line or visit Windance in Hood River or go to http://www.oceanrodeo.com |

Thanks.
I think perhaps better to rig at Bob's, due to limited rig space |

if she's up for schlogging out to the wind she could setup and launch at the boat ramp without taking up any kite rigging space |

Wait a minute, how is it “kite rigging space”? Plenty of space to rig a windsurf sail under the kite eating tree. In the shade no less. Launch off the gravel or by the rock.
Just because the windsurfing tribe tends to hang at Bob’s doesn’t mean we can’t all get along.

It’s not about getting along, but I appreciate the support. The Stevenson kite crew welcomes all comers. Super friendly. It’s more about limited space there, compared to unlimited at Bob’s. |
