how deep is the water in front of hood river marina?

thinking of foiling from the marina - anyone know how deep the water is just east/downwind and around the slider park?

Launch the kite on the beach and then walk northeast around the bathroom until you reach the deepend/drop off side of the sandbar.

Have not launched yet this year, but did come in and check it a little over a week ago.

With the strong current, might need to body drag downwind a tiny bit to get deep enough.

Todd and I foiled out of the marina today. We were able to stay in the middle of the Hood River channel where it's deep enough for foiling. Stay about 50 yards east of the slider features and you should be fine.

The sailboats that sail in and out of the marina are deeper than any foilboard.
