THURSDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN. HIGHS 55 TO 60. WEST WIND 5 TO 15 MPH EXCEPT 25 MPH NEAR HOOD RIVER IN THE AFTERNOON.

If the weather holds, anyone up for a trip to the spit tommorow? I'll be leaving from Camas...

Thinking about it. What time works for you? Earlier is better for me.

The wind was good out there this afternoon. A little bit cooler air temps than the weekend, but not bad at all.

Hi KSS, I was typing as you posted... Anyway, I've got a full size Blazer; I could probably take myself and 2 others with gear if anyone wants to carpool.

Thanks for the info Bandito. Was it as gusty as it looked on Ikitesurf?

Any T2 demos out there??? Very Happy

It wasn't bad. Maybe not a great day for July, but for this time of year it was good.

kss and Kiteboard, Thanks! It might be getting time to replace the '04 Fuels...

Mark, what time are you wanting to leave? Early is probably good, I should be back by 5 or 6 at the latest.

Hey Hood River local: has the w wind been dying-off early, or has it been till sunset?

hope so..

Sorry to hear your not feeling well kss. Sad Thanks for the offer to demo the Sonics. I'll take you up on that when you're back on the water!

NWS is calling for good winds still:

TODAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SPRINKLES OR LIGHT RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON MAINLY WEST. HIGHS 55 TO 60. WEST WIND 5 TO 15 MPH EXCEPT 15 TO 25 MPH NEAR HOOD RIVER IN THE AFTERNOON.

I'll probably head out about 11:30 or so. Anyone that wants a lift let me know here. Otherwise I'll see y'all out there! Very Happy

Event Site is looking pretty good so far... It's enough for a start anway! Very Happy

I've not been to the spit but a couple of times, so I'm not familiar at all. There's a bit of south in the wind, How well does that work at the spit?

Good call! Got a solid 2 hour ride in. Still alittle cold if you flush the suit. Had to wade over from the promised grassy lands. Good sess Thumb's Up
