Whats interesting is that this goes beyond normal human capacity. Which means one of two things:

#1: He has a genetic trait that is fairly unique to himself.

#2: He has tapped a resource inside himself (the ability to regulate his body temperature) that most of us have not discovered.

- Or some combination between the two.

If #2 is correct - then that would lead to the possiblity that all of us could do what he does by simply learning how he does it. The possibilities are pretty fascinating.

That dude is still weak compared to this lady

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/02/12/60II/main540357.shtml

I watched the documentary on 60 mins. about her..swimming for 25 minutes 1.22 miles in ~33 degree water in bathing suit.. Shocked

At 14, she swam California’s Catalina Channel — 21 miles in 12 hours. At 15, she set the women’s and men’s record in the English Channel. Then in 1987, in the midst of the Cold War, she was first to swim from Alaska to the Soviet Union — a five-mile swim through 40-degree water...

The lady has an even layer of fat on her that asssist her in keeping warm. I did a google search on Wim Hof - there are no reports of him having an extra layer of fat.

I've watched many documentaries about amazing people getting into trouble on Everest. I'm curious to see how this guy does.

The iceman - he runs in the ice cold!
He's smooth, he'll wear you down until you do something stupid (like imitating him); then he's got you!
He also wears shorts and sits on blocks of ice to keep extra cool! Very Happy

Does he have a job? - No.
