If I had to guess the windsurfers would be pissed most about these things:

- Us tearing up their flat water area at the upwind area of the Event Site
- Us taking up valuable parking spots because we get there 3 hours earlier
- Us having way more fun in lightwind
- Us being 4 times as numerous on the water
- Us being around, period!

Hey we didn't ask a whole bunch of sand to be dumped 50 feet from this sweet park that's always been just for windsmurfers. Its time to share folks.

sunday there were 2 windsufers and at least 40 kites that is what pisses them off. I saw a couple people launch and land out of the event site maybee 2 or 3 out of 40 they should not have but the 2 windsurfers had pleanty of room.

It's childish attitudes that are part of the problem - like skiers & snowboards "Us verses Them". LOL W/ that amount of people problems are bound to occur, be courteous, use common safety sense & follow the rules that are there to make things work w/ that amount of people!

It was the first day of the season. We were all anxious to get out. Lets all relax, take a deep breath, and start this season out on the right foot. It's just going to be another glorious summer in the gorge. Smile

Lets all just hope for high water to push those tree stumps away.
