yeah summer is usually best on Oahu for sure. Last summer was kind of sucky, but overall Moks gets wind on almost every sunny day due to the thermals....okay that might be a slight exaggeration. Starting from about 11 to sundown...isn't landscaping a night job anyway?

Sounds perfect. Now I just have to convince my boss that even though I had 5 weeks off for surgery that I still need a week or two off in the busiest part of the year :O) The actual work I will need to do will only take about two days so plenty of time to play.

It's a small, small world....

Just got to Maui less than 3 hours ago, drove across the island to Kihei, check in to our condo for the week, go to get on the elevator with all of our bags and the FIRST person we run into is.... Kim & Teague!!! And they are in the condo right next door to ours!

Wind is a little light for kiting today but looks like it may be on for tomorrow! Maybe the wind gods will smile on us this trip! Cool

Tony,

Do you have Carol, Grom & Shannon too?

I think you've had too much time on the water!

Tony & Carol!!! You guys rock!! Very Happy You two picked the perfect time to show up and enjoy some trade winds! It sucks we are leaving in a couple days! We would love to hang with you into the week ahead!

What a perfect sesh we scored tonight and a sunset sesh at that! Shocked We will hook up with you guys tomorrow for some trades on the north side for sure. We have to milk our last full day! You two are perfect neighbors too here at the Maui Sunset. Glad you two showed up when you did as we all were able to ride into the sunset! See you in the morning!

Teague & Kim

Very Happy

Kraemer: Carol is here with me, Grom and Shan (her kids) are still on a perpetual vaca in Baja this winter. If anybody is down there stop in to Yoyo's campground and say hi. And bring duct tape for their tents! Seems like the winter has been a little hard on their things.

We got so lucky and scored a perfect sunset session last night. It didn't look like it was going to go when we first got here but all of a sudden it came up, Teague knocked on the door and it was a scramble to finish putting the boards together and pull our gear out of the suitcases.

Too bad we didn't have a tele-photo lens - Teague was boosting some HUGE Shocked air off the waves rolling in at the point. Always fun to ride with someone who rocks as it pushes you a little more.

Teague: sorry we disappeared last night - we were beat, thirsty and hungry! The little meals on the plane don't go very far! We were in bed by 9 and out for the night.

See ya in a while!

Tony
