It's not too bad. I was skating home from school on one of those nice days we had and got tossed by a rock while trying to avoid someones dog. I think it's just sprained kind of badly, and i can still move it, it's just that whole rotating thing (like when you roll your wrist to turn a key) that is still painful. getting better though. I'll give it a few weeks just to be safe....i need to focus on getting some more film anyways

i'm definately thinking about skipping out of work early, around 2'ish and hitting the sandbar if it is decent.

Just got back from Siletz, what a great day. Gusty and rainy, but this place is awesome. Just had a 5/3 no booties or hood and never got cold. Best season opener I've ever had!

Someone left an O'Neil impact vest, I have it with me.

Did the water level stay around where it was, or did it fill all the way in?

it was just seeping in over the last few hours (1pm - 4pm)...apparently it doesn't get more than a couple of feet deep up to the shoreline, but is about 30 feet deep out in the channel, and is kite able all the way up the river to the coast road...really nice spot if you get the wind right!

Yea, that's when I like it best (after it completely fills in and is shallow/glassy). Didn't check the tide today to see how high it was though. Looks like the single huge tree out in the middle is gone now, but got replaced by lots of little ones, eh? Haven't been up to Lincoln City lately. Maybe this coming week if the forecast looks decent?

I WANT some SUNNY, STRONG, NORTH! Laughing (these were April last year - so soon enough, hopefully)

Rollercoaster Wind 8-28 and Rain, but still great fun. Lots of ankle deep mirrors for the skim. Cool spot. Thanks Elvis for grabbing my board during the 20 min lull. Thumb's Up
