If you're not to scared of a little rain...

Saturday: S 20-25 High of 52
Sunday: SW 25-30 High of 53

Thinking of hitting up Tolovana Park. (Edit: We're going to Siletz Bay now, see below)

Damn, some nice weather and Siletz sounds good to me. Wonder what the forecast is like for next week? Left all my shit in Portland.

What should I know about riding Siletz? I've never been there and would like to check it out. How does the tide affect the bay?

Make the tide and avoid the wood - you should be A-ok.
Maybe bring your clam shovel when it goes out. Smile

here's a tiny summary of what adam told me...
get there at low tide...you'll have beach to rig on, and the tide will start coming in...which will help with the current. kite away.... if you go too far north in the bay, you might bump a few seal heads...

Well, the forecast got upgraded 30 to 35, even better. Smile Rain is likely on Saturday.

Saturday, I think we're going to hit up Siletz Bay with the wind forecasted this high, it's likely to be a little lighter in the bay. Meeting there at 11:30 AM. Low tide is 11:07 AM and high tide is 5:20 PM.

Feel free to call if you'd like to carpool from Sunset Transit Center at 9am.
Mobile: 210-363-4624.

there's only 1 parking spot by the bathrooms, so we'll need to park in the streets.

here's a rough map...couldn't find adam's directions.

That's a better picture anyways! Thumb's Up

I really would like to get out, but I've gotta take a practice MCAT test tomorrow, then had planned on going boarding at night. What's everyone thinking for Sunday?
