In the Bay - where Brooten Road comes closest to the bay.

Was blowing 15 East when I arrived - things shut down around 1PM.

Any one up for a lunch time Rooster Session?

i was wanting to try it around there, but wasn't sure about it... figured E would be the right direction...though the wind gets a little weird in there...

Yeah, the temp was totally bearable....wish my hood was easier to take off and ride..

So, Rollo/Slither: what year was that Vegas?...looked killer....not much deformation in the kite with that gusty wind...it looked super stable. I am not selling my "C" kites thats for sure.
Man, I swear the waroo just looks/feels like it goes from normal shape, then in the gusts to super flat....
I was talking with Phil about riding those 2006 roos depowered and sheeted-out, and it makes a huge difference on performance...and I swear I like riding with my slingy-bar better, I should have rigged with that..

That's an 07 Vegas and I'm really happy at how stable and solid they fly in a depowered state. Yesterday was a great test, especially on the inside where the wind was getting pretty wacky at times.

Rollo had his little 6 flying more powered up (more tension in the back lines) which made it look very stable to me.

PS I can't make it today but there are some nice readings at RR right now in the upper teens. A rare non-nuclear session looks like it could be had! Very Happy

06 Waroo:
lightly powered = Smile
powered = Very Happy
over powered = Evil or Very Mad

The new stopper ball bar is worth every penny too...
