Sun May 08, 16 4:54 pm Rufus, how many lost boards? |
|
|
There has been some great beginning of the year’s days already. At Rufus I lost one board already and know of one other. It would be interesting to know the board count this year. Boy the Rufus current is strong! AND yes I know I should be jumping in a different location.
The fisherman must be getting $$$ from their eBay kiteboard program

I was out there 2 weeks ago and yes, the current sure was ripping. Staying upwind was effortless but getting back downwind to the launch was not easy!
Great wind but not much jumping for me, made sure to keep the board on my feet at all costs. Seemed sketchy at first but still a blast!

It was awesome to see so many kites out at Rufus today. Yes, a great start to the season. So many 4m, 4.5m, and 5m kites on the water. Good job to everyone for watching out for one another in those conditions. Most of us were using the buddy system.
Sorry about your board. No fishermen are out in conditions like this. Hopefully, it shows up.
12 straight hours of above 30 average.

After visiting mom I was able to get in a sunset session. Wind straighten out and the sun down session was a perfect weekender!
