Does anyone ever battle with remote control gliders? Are there alot of good places to do this in the gorge?

Lots of hobbiest in the gorge, there are a few locations the sloppers go in the gorge, and then there is Cape Blanco, where I think they set records with there gliders.

PM me and I will forward to the club members I work with.

My experience w/ this is remote control planes w/ ENGINES. Then you try to chop a ribbon off another plane. Fly-throughs and all kinds of fun can happen! Way fun!

How does this work w/ gliders?

Here is a link to the slope gliding spot at hoodriver: http://www.rchomepage.com/~passoari/site_lumber.htm
I think they do alot of full contact combat up there too. I plan on brining a wing up this summer, should be something to do when the kiteboarding is less then ideal. See a few picks of the slope below.

Thanks for all the feedback. I fly my zagi alot here in Maui and will be coming for the second half of the year. I'll bring my zagi! We do alot of full contact battles. I'll snap some pics next time we go. Such an unreal spot over looking the ocean only 150 yards below but the winds so strong most of the time as long as you keep your plane high, it just blows back towards you. If you come to maui bring your plane and let me know.

I haven't flown up there yet, but hav flown my wing in anything from about 7-40mph. Of course the higher wind speeds make it more exciting.

I'm in the doghouse. I lost Mr. Onepump's wing last Friday and I'm too gimp with the knee and all to look for it. Sounds like I'm gunna get a big bill in the mail.
