Any idea if it is Saturday or Sunday ? I'll bring a wave runner for someone to drive support if they want to volunteer. Must be 18 with boaters card. |

If it's Sunday I will drive your waverunner. Still off the water with a little foot injury. Last forecast I saw was light teens to maybe 20 by afternoon with some winds out east!! Did not look too too good but maybe!! _________________ Take a breath; inhale |

I would say it is too early to make the call, but if Temira is correct then Sunday is looking good.
Saturday starts off with light west wind and picks up to 13-16 from Cascade Locks to Hood River in the afternoon. Expect gusty west wind at 21-24 on Sunday, strongest from Cascade Locks to Hood River. |

Forecast for the weekend looks a bit on the weak side:
Saturday: Stevenson and the Corridor reaching some low 20's. The Near East reaching maybe upper teens.
Sunday: Stevenson and the Corridor reaching low to maybe mid 20's, but potentially unsettled. The Near East and East much lighter and more unsettled.
We'd like to get a solid nukin' day to run the event. It's been a bit light the last couple of years and its much more exciting when you can barely hold down an 8.
We're going to postpone until August 8th in the hopes that the heat wave will roll on through and we'll get some cooling by late next week. No real rush to get it done so we'll wait for the best conditions.
