Hey All,

Finally got a free moment to throw up some photos from the last five days down at Skyline. Not a lot of new snow, but still an amazing place to snowkite. Went from never doing it to throwing double spin 20ft lofties off the ridges. If your a solid water kiter, you will throw on your snow tool and be off and running in about three minutes.

For more information contact Brian and Heather Schenk at www.windzup.com

Jeff Kafka is also running a local snowkiting lodge and has the full 411 at www.snowkiteutah.net

Adios, Jon

Bam,
It was fun kiting with you.

Just imagine how much fun,
with lots of fresh powder.

Or an East wind, to play on the cornices.

I'm heading back up tomorrow.

Photographs of me? Ha, that is funny! Somehow the photog never seems to ever get any shots of himself...

I was only shooting myself for about an hour and specifically Brian, Heather, and a few of their students were all helping me out as being willing subjects. Since they are the importers for Ozone, all you see are air-rams in the images. But, I was personally riding my Torch II's from last summer. I would say that overall it was split 50/50 between the tubers and the rammers. Most of the tubes were either the Best Waroo and the Cabrina Crossbows, and all the kites worked well.

I tried both the bows and air rams, but personally I was digging my regular C Torch II's... Whatever you have for the water will definitely work on the snow as well.

Jon

PS: Marty, yeah good to meet you down there. Hopefully I will be able to get back out for the Ozone Snow Masters in early March.
