La Ventana is awesome. The San Antonio freeway is crazy and has a closure at one point but they have build a makeshift road along the side. At 1 am in the morning I thought we were going to die. Casa Verde is an amazing place to stay. I don't know who suggested Casa Verde but thank you. My whole family is very pleased. The wind has been great the last two days. I hope it continues.

I read somewhere on Ikitesurf that a bay area kiter was rushed to the hospital in La Paz. Does anyone know who or what happened. I met some Bay area people about a week before it would have happened and I'm curious.

| A guy apparently lost his finger but I dont know the details. He looked to be in his late 20s-early 30s with longish dark hair. He was walking around and in good spirits, but with a giant bandage on his hand.

Since La Ventana has been so great to my brother and me this year, we have decided it's too hard to leave and are staying another 3 months! If anyone is coming down, hurry, the Burning Bush party is on Jan 13 and the race from the Island is on Jan. 20.
