Forecast for Florence

Tonight: Rain...heavy at times in the evening. Damaging wind. Isolated thunderstorms. South wind 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 85 mph...except 45 to 60 mph near beaches and headlands with gusts to 105 mph. Wind becoming southwest 25 to 35 mph late with gusts to 55 mph. Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hell yeah!! Meadows at 100 mph.. I was up there tuesday and it was blowing around 30 I think.. giving the lift a little more excitement.. can't imagine 100, my girlfriend said there was a blizzard warning or something... So far we've lost some patio furniture into the neighbor's yard but I think all the cats are still accounted for, so all is well. Laughing

Timberline's parking lot would have been awesome for 13m snowkiting last night (11:00ish). ~6 inches of fresh with a ~15mph breeze! Unfortunately, it was the one time I didn't take my kites up. Sad
