Hey All - Julia Lieberman and Matteo Soltane have started Northwest Youth Kiting Association, at www.youthkite.org. They're planning an event at Jetty Island on Saturday afternoon, August 16, to build the youth stoke for kiting. That means families!! Because interested kids will bring their parents along to show them about the sport, and interested parents will bring their kids along to the event. There will be free food (for "youth"), music, and swag from some of our favorite sponsors, including Urban Surf, Cabrinha, and Naish. There will also be free trainer kite lessons.
