Yes, Sauvie is the sweetest wine and beer tasting spot for kiteboarders but there is also some real nice kiting moments... Video captured yesterday but focusing on the mellow side of the day. My second battery was empty and did not have enough time to record kiting action...

AHH, young Jedi, indeed Sauvies is sweet for consuming libations, but there are actually A LOT better locals that provide greater highs from the riding that are much superlative to Sauvies. I'd tell ya where, but then I'm have to borrow your drone and run you down with it and kill ya;-)

Thanks for the vid. Last night was fun as we didn't get skunked; and the drive on and off the island is SO peaceful and pretty!

Yes Master Yoda. Looking forward to hearing more about these great secret spots...Please note that my drone is only tuned to cut through canopy and kite lines and not human flesh. Razz

The forecast direction for today looks better than yesterday. Offshore winds suck at SI.

There are nice red wind speed numbers on the coast already.

I heard stories about crazy high wind at Jones yesterday, but I haven't seen any postings about it.

Well... John, Dan and I are sitting at the lighthouse in Linton with pints.

When John and I got there at 4 it was blowing my hat off with white caps on the water... It slacked a bit as we pumped up so I went out overpowered a bit on my 17. John had fun on his 13. We took a break and it got lighter. We had one more really good session with Navonod who was on his 11.

The wind started dying at 6 or so with clouds in the west. It was gone totally by 6:30.

It was a blast early. Tough for the gang that arrived late.
