not sure if you guys have seen this kite yet, but I think LF might have a winner here with the one strutter.
I had the opportunity to jump on it later in the afternoon. winds a little gusty in the upper teens low 20s. gary let me take out the 9m solo and I first thought ok this might be a good option for foiling because it seemed light. after a quick 15 minutes trying to ride his foil, I grabbed my twintip and headed out to the channel. pretty impressed with how the kite could jump. kite has great response and actually handles the gusty wind very nice. took it up to the bridge and had a blast with loops in the flat water. I've been used to a kite giving me a nice soft landing on a downloop, but when I tried it with the solo, I found it was so quick with full power thru the loop it would pull me back up before landing on a downloop. super fun! LE pretty small and a simple pulleyless bridle making the kite lightweight. bar pretty comfy and intuitive. good use of orange on the bar making it a no brainer which side is port and where the release is, anyhow IMO it's a kite you do want to check out. Pepi at second wind should have some to demo. here's some shots of the solo.
good job liquid force!

Thanks Stringy for the pics and Solo love!
We are all very excited about this new kite! Really was a bit of a pleasant surprise to all of us at LF as well. It evolved out of our strutless prototypes and work which had well over a year into it. Wasn't even targeted as part of our 2014 kite lineup... that was until we all started flying the close to final versions.
Solo kites will be available by the end of the month, boat is due in in a week or 2. I have full size run and Gary also has a couple, that we aired in for early samples.
SOLO demo's are available ANYTIME these days around the Hood! either hit me on this forum or approach us on the beach and take one for a spin or coordinate with us through Pepi at 2nd Wind Sports in HR!

yes the 15m was a standout when Siskar was in San Diego testing it out. We were doing light wind test at Stinkies and several people got to ride it and were very impressed with its low end performance, stability and range when the wind picked up! Good job LF!
