Good point JNETTE, yeah, bad combo, they disolve in the drink and make a mess better to wash those pills down with some wiskey shooters

Eat your fruits & veggies. There's healing power in them.

Don't know if it's your right shoulder and whether you are RHed
but I have CTS and have learned to run my computer mouse
with either hand. I don't switch it to LH mode. I just use my
ring finger to click. (I use a 3 button mouse) I think maybe
it will help me ride switch better.

Best wishes and hope you can hootchie (glide) again soon.

Hey Phillip,

Hope the recovery is going well.

Hmmm, so this is how to garner attention in the NW Kite Community... Go have surgery eh?

Here is another shot of our local kite hero...

Phil,
How is the wing coming along?

I think you should start doing 12 ounce curls Very Happy
Once you master those you can move up to 16 pounders!

Thanks for asking and thanks again for all the well wishes from my buds on the forum.

Shoulder is doing good not much pain, only when I do my PT exercises which I have to do about 4 times a day. I have to wear the sling for another 5 weeks which is kind of a pain, but no biggie.

I talked to the surgeon yesterday, she's a sports orthopedics and athroscopic specialist at OSHU and does over 100 procedures a year. She said my shoulder was the worst she had seen! I guess as soon as they put me under and my muscles relaxed my shoulder just fell out of socket all on its own. Ha.

But she is very optimistic about the procedure they performed and she paid special attention to make sure that I could keep all of my flexibility, which was most important to me. Given the choice between having to have the procedure again someday and losing too much flexibility I would rather do the procedure again. Got to be able to get those unhooked moves extended you know! Very Happy

Anyway my main goal at this point is to be able to at least kite hooked-in in time for our Cozumel trip in February ... about 8 weeks away now. I will be able to start doing more aggressive PT in 5 weeks so hopefully I can get enough strength and flexibility back in time.

Cheers and thanks again for the support!

Best of luck buddy. I've had 2 surgeries on my right shoulder so I know how it goes. DO YOUR FREAKIN PT!!! It's a pain in the butt...but it works.
