I think its at the north end. I also read about the "wave ranch" Yeeehaww sounds like fun.

But yeah, the main kite beach is at the NW corner of the island. The wave ranch was not windy enough while we were there, though the beaches on that side of the island are really beautiful and have some nice looking waves.

I'm going there for 10 days at Christmas, been emailing a guy named Adrian who has a shop there. Diving for sure, kiting if my kite camp goes well in Maui next week! Still a rook...

Sounds like the south end of the island(where diving is best) isn't good for kiteboards....

Adrian is super nice and very helpful. I was just learning last year and he followed me in the boat and would give me directions, it was a break thru for me by the end of the trip I was up and riding. There's a big grocery store toward the end of town if you need any supplies. Have a great trip, Cozumel is great I cant wait to go back.

Adrian rocks - awesome guy.

A dinner at his restaurant is a must while on the island.
There are lots of great kiting spots there.

Hey Everyone, while on the topic of Mexico....I came across Seattle's Kite forum - noticed someone mentioned "Cheap airfare to Mexico - Discounts of 20%". I'm not sure about the details. All I know is that it's through Alaska/Horizon Air...

The X-beaches are also a lot of good kiting ,all the way till you can almost see Ambergies Cay,across from Chetumal
west of Playa Del Carmen
