You could sell it to GTMoto guy for $100 and get your first lesson... haha...
Its great that you've watched everything on the internet, since there is lots of quality information out there... If you want some other things to watch that might persuade you to get a lesson, google:
"youtube kitemare"
Then go buy a lesson. _________________ JHB |

Ok, here comes some Troll for ya:
Didn't you read this guys post? He is broke, but wants to start kiting? If he lives in Eugene, he should go visit Mr. Hanky at Fern Ridge. Save $ on travel to Florence... He can sit in the shallow mud with said turd and fly his trainer kite. Almost like riding on the Willamette after a big rain storm.
Do you collect guns, but don't fire them because the rounds are too expensive?
Purchased a car, but can't afford insurance and maintenance?
Being broke in this sport isn't a good place to be...keeps you staring at the riders on the water from the sandy shores of the beach.
Sir, your best bet to learn and do it cost effectively would be to plan mini trips to Floras ie 4 day window where you can take a lesson and have butter water to practice. Eat, rest, sleep...REPete...the camp site there on the Lake is probably $10 per night and it has hot showers and bathrooms.
Will has a B&B and so would be much more $$$ than the campsite. |

Excellent.......that seems to be the right kite for this thread.
If you're not trolling take up Regi on his offer because time is money and he's making a grand gesture so you don't 'eff up yourself or the local kite beach scene. Bring beer and sandwiches and understand he will laugh when the trainer kite rag dolls you around the beach. Then when you think you're ready for the water go to Floras for the weekend like Squatch recommended and repeat the carnage.
If you have any board skills to speak of Floras will be your breakthrough session(s). If you decide the Youtube training option works best for the budget that Toro2 will put it's horns firmly in your ass. So......the good thing is...ya got options. Good luck and wear a helmet. |
