Since the iKite sensor seems to be down, and Jones is the only spot forecasted to have wind the next few days - anyone that could provide an OSR for Jones would be greatly appreciated! Wink Nate? Micah? Anyone?

I second this request! Especially tomorrow afternoon. I hope they get the sensor fixed soon.

Since there is almost a 20 degree temp difference between Astoria and Portland today, and there is a 14 mph wind in Astroia - I would think Jones would be firing today. Although there is only a .02 pressure reading between Astoria and Portland right now. Jones will probably get going here in the next hour or so???????

If it goes at all today, then I expect it's going to be weak, and probably late. The winds out there are a bit too southerly (in my opinion), and the pressures are essentially flat as of now. Winds migh switch to a bit more westerly, and gradients should strengthen later, but it might be too late for today.

Tomorrow looks a lot better.

Full cloud cover down thru Woodland still. Looks pretty dead as far as the Kelso region goes. Kelso itself is only +7-10 degrees from Astoria.

And we all know that cloud cover obliterates Jones wind.

Yeah - cloud cover would shut it down. Looks like if I had time to kite today - I would be at Roads End........... Planning on Jones tomorrow though!

How was Jones today? The weather station being out of service is driving me crazy.
