One of the reasons I love kiting on the coast is because it is so scenic. And the water is clean!!

Samual Boardman State Park down in SO O. I had to retrieve my OREGON COAST, by Ray Atkeson, photo book to investigate.

Luke, I like your angle/shot better the infamous Ray Atkeson shot (pp. 116 and 117) with regards to the Haystack rock arch/rock with the hole in the middle.

Wasn't there some south in the swell over the weekend? I'm assuming that is when your shots were taken.

I know this spot!!!!
it's just south of the middle central part of the central north coast......
just east of the western most point.
either that or it's in idaho on the snake river????
i think luke reversed.... mirror imaged....... the pics to hide it's true location.

never ask a fisherman where he caught his last steelhead....
never ask a powder skier where those tracks were laid....
never ask a surfer where those sweet waves are.....
if they want you to know they'll tell you.

It doesn't need to be kept a secret to keep it un-crowded. The 6 hour drive from Portland will keep most large crowds away. Guys on the south coast generally get to keep all the goods for themselves. Occasionally kiters from the north will get motivated for he road trip, but that is not an every weekend deal............
