Some things never change but I'm glad that the old pattern stayed true. The manzo vs north strip quandary. Add to it that manzo at 8' 14sec is out of control. Inevitably there are a bunch of jonzers sitting up at the park jumping out of their skin or taking shlog runs. It is painful and full of risk, do I start drinking beer b/c its 4pm and its barely 12m? Last night delivered with the north strip fully unloading steady as hell mid to high twenties through the evening and good swell. So if you rigged your 17m for that downwinder and it turned 9m during the trip, here's to you warpig, here's to you.

Wow, great to put Sept to bed with that day, should be another good several days. Amazing, it's fall and still producing with great swell. Get those days off next week.

All I have to say is that New Port on Saturday scared the living shit out of me Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked The biggest surf I have ever had the pleasure to Take It To The Top....Yo! (yes it spells Tittty) and totally get MEGA DESTROYED. (you know, face plant at the bottom of a 25 footer that just jack up into a wall, hit the base of the swell, spin around as you are thrown back up and then down into the POUND, bounce off the bottom to total suspended time warp. No I Did Not Keep My Kite Up. The Biggest waves and the most worked In my entire life. It shall go down in the record books.
I had the ultimate weekend hanging out with my boys G-Man, Toby, K-Dog, and Matt, you guys charged it strapless and F-en Killed it. Yes the local coasty crew schooled us all and showed us whats up and hows its done. Saw some incredible hits, drops, and skill by many of the guys out in this stuff. Sorry for rambling but I am still super stoked to have whiteness such an Event of Such Magnitude.

It was blowing 15, maybe. The waves were closing out and I was tempted, but my fear of drowning won.
It was big.

I was in Lincoln with family at the ABBA concert, lol. We were the youngest there.

I'll be in Manzo or Clitsop if it's setting up.

The waves were big at Roads end. I was tempted, but the close out with 15 faces made me pucker as I was alone.

I'll get some,
R

Well manzo might blow today. . .but most likely all you will get is the ponds on east wind.

Clitsop works great on an east wind...just rig big and sail west until you're powered up! Thumb's Up Wave
