I'm heading up towards bremerton on Tuesday to do some field work in conjunction with a new boat ramp being built at point no point park. Is there any decent kiting up around that area this time of year?

Muchas Gracias.

Point No Point has been kited before but is not recomended by any means. Way too much current and such with no bail-outs if trouble arises. Your best bet is to run over to Marristone Island, you can kite East Beach on southerlies or the very north end of the island on straight northerlies. If theres west in the wind you can run up to Sequim and kite at Cline Spit in the flat water inside of Dungness Spit but beware of debris in the water, oyster shells on the beach and the on-shore launch. Or you can run a little further west to Ediz Hook in Port Angeles, careful of the pilings.

Thanks a bunch Teague!! I was looking at topo maps of point no point. It did appear that if you had trouble you would end up in the middle of no where pretty quick. Thanks again for the suggestions!!
