Kinda reminds me of combat fishing on the clackamas during high peak salmon runs... Laughing

seriously - no.

those guys don't paddle the gorge and they don't do downwinders. if you p*ss over there and some surfers take the negative vibe to the beach, it will not be you pdx-gorge guys that get the attitude.

thanks in advance for being mature Very Happy

hehe sorry I am just kidding. I guess I am still a little sore from last year when one of those guys came over here and started smack talking.

"Marry Poppins was a kiter" is a line I am not sure there is a comeback to.

Hell yeah you should start a netwar. Nothing like a little fun razzing between users. Don't worry about PJC. I've never seen him actually ride a wave yet so the surfers shouldn't be too hard on him.

Hey the other day I lost my board going through some surfers and they paddled it down to me. Laughing Laughing Laughing I have nothing against them. I will let them have their waves any day. I have seen pete turn a few.

thanks for the props guys. Cool

is jiberski one of us?

by all means give the surfers some love. almost all are good dudes. no hassles this year.... last year there was some territorial surfer that blowhard had to put back in line. no punches thrown but all the yelling scared me. i don't like it when the adults fight. i think internet p*ssing will amp some guys up. better to give some love and let the jokes slide.

Had nothing but good vibes from surfers in Florence. I know a few of them pretty well and they all want to learn to kite. I've seen PJC kill it out there. It's fun to torque surfers waves just downwind from them. Makes me giggle Wink

good stuff, hope my comments didn't come off too negative, I was just foolin. I know even the surfers with some 'tude are just trying to protect what they love.

Its not a surprise surfers have everyone's respect, including mine, being the mother of all boardsports and all that...
