Kip! I like those ideas! We might have to add something like that. We've also had requests for a strapless group, boots only, and handicapping by age. I still like the random team aspect though as it really evens out the playing field and lets everyone have a chance.

If we can figure out a better insurance package for next year we may be able to run it a couple of times to accommodate the different formats.

Shoot me ideas and suggestions on how to improve things. We may need a qualifying run and we definitely need two support boats/skis instead of just one. Our one boat got caught up with supporting the last person (like I told them to) and was not available to help out up at Viento when Jon and the boys were having their problems.

Looking forward to seeing some of the footage that Jay from Kitesites shot.

ps: forgot to answer about the popular kite size. If I had to guess I'd say 8 or 9m was the most popular kite. But there were 7's through 17's on the water. Cory was on a 16 and Eric and Jake were on 17's. Ski's in first place, then some boots, then some surfboards, then more boots and regular twin tips. I think the boots riders had a lot of fun looping and skipping off the top of the waves.
