SI Crew: Sad day yesterday, Sadie died :(

Sadie drowned yesterday, doing what she loved the most.

I was body-dragging for my board, and Sadie thought I was in trouble so she swam out next to me.

I couldn't find my board so I flagged down a boat for assistance.

He found my board and retrieved it, close to the anchored barges.

I got back on my board, and we mentioned what a great dog I had, then I worked my way back to my launch.

Sadie never returned. Sad

I think she got sucked under a barge Sad

I never had a dog like her. I miss her greatly. Tears keep falling.

Sooo sorry for your loss, I know I would be a mess if I lost my pup, they are our best friends and partners in crime.
Sadie was an amazing dog and I loved watching her run up and down the beach watching you kite!

May she forever chase lost kiters in the afterlife!

Bummer!!! Sadie was a great dog.

It was always amazing to see her swimming way out in the river following you while you kited, and she always seemed to have such a great time doing it. She was always mellow and respectful on the beach.
