Kited the Event site today, great day, big winds, had a blast.
After my sesh I pulled over to the yellow Load and Unload curb. Loaded my gear, then launched and landed about twenty kites, so yeah, I was more than 5 minutes at the curb.
SOME DOUCHEBAG SLAPS A BIG " NO PARKING, YOU WILL BE TOWED WITH NO FURTHER NOTICE" sticker on my DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD.
This is a special sticker you can buy from some a$$hole company thats designed to be near impossible to remove. Solvent based glue, plastic sticker that won't peel off, shreds into a gluey mess.
Really gotta wonder about the motivation behind this douchebag move.
Dangler hating Grumpy Windsurfer? or just some Dickhead that likes to try and F*ck Up someone elses day?
Well, if you are reading this, mister misanthrope, you did not f*ck up my day.
I HAD A GREAT DAY!!!!
And I bet that bad Karma will end up biting you on the A$$ someday.

so to sum it up and para phrase for Dangler: "go Fu*K YOURSELF"! Awww I love it. keep it Dangler, douche bags need a good bitch slapping. how else are these idiots suppose to know they are douches if it wasnt for poeple enlightening them in colorful language.

Yeah those stickers suck but could it have just been a new booth employee just doing what they thought was their job?? Maybe just let them know that they dont have to immediately stick a sticker on your car for parking in that zone?

No. Our extended launching and landing agreement ended on June 7th.
If there is not enough sandbar for someone to comfortably launch, then they can go to the Sandspit launch, or the Marina Beach Launch.
If we want to continue to earn and gain our access at the Event Site, we need to follow our agreed upon rules.

Loose the kiting access that has currently been gained for the Event Site and it wont be the parking Nazi that we will be calling a Douche

Everyone Launched and landed on Wednesday, including the Godfather of Kiteboarding.
Nearly NO ONE launched or landed Thursday'
Guess the word was out. ( Jedi mind trick, I am not the droid you are looking for.)

No the Sandbar was out.
Rules are rules and you have to respect them. It would be very cool...and I mean very cool....to somehow begin the process to request from the Port Event Site launching and landing during mid-week (Mon-Thurs) with the help/guidance of the CGKA or work on extending until July 1st beginning next year. Just throwing it out there because even when the Sandbar shows up now...it's pretty tight to rig, launch, land and the wade across the moat pre and post sess is always such a pleasure.  Just a thought and I do appreciate the expansion of this area over the years but whoever we have to blow to make it happen, please count Monkey Boy in. |
