I think that is Pablo when he was a grom, playing on the beach...

Back in the 50s and 60s there was this ballsy adventuresome photographer named Howard Gulick that toured up and down the Peninsula taking photos, meeting the local people, and basically immersing himself in the culture. He wrote a very cool book that UCSD has in their library, and you can see all the pics at http://orpheus.ucsd.edu/speccoll/baja/gulick/
