How is it going all of my fellow windsurfers and kite riders!!!? I was visiting the gorge this weekend on a business trip and a nice bloke I met down while riding told me about this site! I am here from New Zealand. I can only imagine the summers here. Must be mind blowing. It was cold on the water sunday, but man it was great to meet such wonderful people. I will post pics on this site once i figure it out. Anyone be down to meet up saturday to ride with a out of country fellow?

What a shame that is... I grew up windsurfing and started kiting back in 2000. I used to love windsurfing so much but after trying kites there was no going back. My favorite windsurfing set up was my Neilpryde sail. Oh man could I lay down a wicked jargin on that ol boy... Now boosting is in my blood so I wont speak of it anymore. Is there a place I can rent a board and sail to go surf the gorge before I leave town? Any help would be great!!!!

| Awe thats crazy mate! My name is Simon. Its an old pic, I cut off the rocker hair. Are you perhaps going to be riding this weekend? I have a big van on rental for hauling our audio equipment and can fit a good three people in in if anyone wants to hitch a wagon and ride from portland to the gorge with me.

Don't need the ride, but I'll def be riding. My bro-in-law is a Kiwi, so I can nearly understand you knobbers.

Planning trip this fall to NZ, both north and south islands. Would be great to have a contact there for any kiteboarding recommendations. Feel free to PM an e-mail if you like.
Out for now w/ a recovering shoulder, but might be out watching the wife have a good time.
