No good launch there. Not worth trying, you will just piss off a lot of windsurfers. Keep the peace. Not hard to up-wind from the Sandbar anyway. |

The Swell City launch is private property and they don't allow kiteboards. It would be a terrible rocky launch anyways. The wind is really wierd near shore there.
It would be great to boat launch from the OR side away from the craziness of Swell and the hatch. I haven't quite figured out the best way to do this yet. It would be great to boat to a deserted part of the river and kite there. |
