Sunshine and thermal winds come with summer temps around these parts. We all know that summer doesn't start in Oregon until July 5th. I say July 7th ............

But is it thermal winds and sunshine as stated by the conditions in the original post?

OK. You're crazy! Smile

Forecast is for light North, but the upper level is moving South pretty good. I'm betting "good day for a bbq".

I've never been right before, but there's always a first time!

SI worked today. Gman wins Nak's contest. TinyE was right and apparently not crazy.

Four of us and the weather met all the criteria. Carl and I were on 10Ms, others were on an 11M and a 13M. It was good for about an hour, and then really lite but kiteable for another hour or so after that.

My first after work kiting since last year. Felt great! Hope we get some more soon.

EDIT: ... just read the post before mine. No fishermen, except for some kids with one pole way up the beach.

2nd EDIT: Sasquatch posted 23-Apr before Gman did, so I guess Sasquatch wins and Gman just gets partial credit.
