I'm going to La Ventana next week. Anyone know the water temp?
And will a spring suit be enough? Thanks... |

NOAA showing water temps in the 19-20C range. Might be warmer than that at the end of the bay near shore. |

I went in dec/jan. Wore a 1m top and some shorts the whole time. Some others were in the same, and then there were people in full suits. I think it just depends on you. Id pack warm just in case. |

A week ago when we left water temp was 67 deg. A few were out in shorties but most still in full suits. I would at least take a shorty. |

I wore a shorty for a few days and was OK. I switched to my 3/2 over the knee and was way more comfortable.
I would at least pack a shorty. |

Water temp 67 + wind= 3/2 for >40, shorty for <40, 1-2mm tops for metabolics and trunks only for newbies, posers and people who never think they'll need to swim in. |
