Wed Mar 21, 12 4:43 pm Front Or Back Zipper on Wetsuit? |
|
|
Looking at wetsuits and trying to decide between a front or back zipper on the Hyperflex AMP K 5/3 wondering which would work best for Kiteboarding. The price is the same for either one. Thanks let me know what you guys think. |

I tried the front zip on the Amp and it was more difficult to get in and out.
probably a matter of personal taste... |

Front zip is harder to get in and out of but offers more mobility once you're in. Also most chest zips I've tried flush less than back zips. I'll probably never buy a back zip suit again. _________________ "all I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine."

I have actually had that suit you are interested in and I had the back zip 5/3 for summer and its a good suit. It has an internal back piece that you pull over your head before you zip up to prevent less flushing and it works great.
I personally have front zip suits now. They are harder to get in and out compared to a back zip but they hardly ever flush. If you want to wear that suit year round I might lean more towards front zip.
Try em both on and see what feels better |
