The golden state,
HAS got to be one of the best poaching potenciales , on strong spring pushes of wind locals, famed kiters I. e, chuck patterson, ectra, people who do not ride and tell stories,they just ride all the time.
personaly ridding into wind shadow coves with over crowded conditions is super risky, image waping some inocent clueles surfer, though I do see this practice on a regular basis.
still some spots are tempting , for history and name sake, first in mind is topanga canyon, watched a few guys ride this spot passing trou amazing.
hunington is special, picks tons of swell.
loe carrillo has got it, but not the trdition al spot from being a surfer, around the corner?
Every spot has its season and days, doldrums make you sick, so does 30kts 10 days in a row, over head and narly, Theres a lot to be said for 15kts flat shallow water and 85f.
