RE: driving at night, drive in middle of road when you can and that helps with your safety margin... if you must pass somebody, do so with caution! _________________ Marina

After two winters of 5 months each living in Mexico I've learned some strange driving cultures about this country: If a heavy slow truck is in front of you... and he turns on his LEFT turn signal, this means he's assuring you that it is safe to pass and he sees no oncoming traffic. Or, in some instances it could mean he's taking a left turn.
I still almost never pass in this instance unless I can see for myself what's ahead.
